Code of Conduct

You have a responsibility to know and understand all the rules. Ignorance isn’t an excuse.

Don’t harass, threaten, blackmail, or bully others. If you can’t get along with someone, avoid them.

Don’t discriminate against others. This includes homophobia, sexism, racism, or any hate speech.

Keep your language appropriate for everyone. Occasional mild language is fine, but avoid overdoing it.

Don’t share illegal, pornographic, or offensive content. If you wouldn’t say it in a public place, don’t say it here.

You’re responsible for any actions taken on your account, even if someone else is using it.

Don’t spam, flood, or disrupt the community. This includes excessive emojis, caps, repeated messages, screaming, annoying voice changers.

Don’t impersonate others, or pretend to be someone you’re not, especially not staff.

Don’t encourage others to break the rules, or conspire together with others to break the rules.

Don’t frivolously argue with Moderators or Administrators when they’re enforcing the rules.

Don’t share anyone else’s Personal Information, even if they say it’s okay. If they want to share it, they can do so themselves.

If you’re under 16, keep your Personal Information to yourself. Don’t share it publicly. Don’t show your face on videos or streams.

Always get consent before recording or streaming others. Just saying you’re doing it isn’t enough; they need to explicitly agree.

Keep private messages confidential. Don’t share or disclose what’s said in any private chat without everyone involved giving the okay. This is especially true for DMs.

Don’t use Alinea to advertise or promote anything without permission from the Server Administration. This includes sharing links to other servers, communities, or services.

You’re welcome to share your videos or streams created on the Alinea server, provided you link to our website (https://alinea.gg) in your description or comments.

These rules also extend to private messages like DMs. Do not solicit other Alinea members.
