Welcome to the Alinea Encyclopedia! Alinea has a lot of custom content and rebalances. All of our changes try to achieve one or more of these three goals:

1. Balance for Multiplayer: The vanilla game becomes significantly easier when playing with friends who might already have a significant head start. We try to rebalance the game so that even when joining late into the season, you still have to work for your gear.
2. Extend the End-Game: We get it, speedrunning can be impressive, but on a server that is meant to last for months, it can ruin the fun for everyone else. We try to extend the end-game both by slowing down progression and by adding new content.
3. Fun: Not all changes have to be about balance. We also add content that we think is fun and adds to the experience of playing on Alinea. Think of candy canes and music discs!
